Print A Large Banner

Large banners are used everywhere from signs in stores to decorations at parties, but many people don't know print images on such a large scale. Many options exist for printing large banners: you can print banners with your own printer for free using multiple sheets of paper, or you can order prints from online printing businesses or from a printing store. The cost for printing a banner will vary based on size and the quality of print.

Instructions

1. Go to a website that allows you to print large posters and banners in tiles with your at-home printer; one option is The Rasterbator at homokaasu.org. Upload a picture of the banner you want to print out. Crop your banner to the size you want, then click "Size" to see how many pages you will need to use to print your banner. Click "More Sheets" to use more sheets of paper for the banner, or "Fewer Sheets" for fewer sheets of paper. Choose whether you want a border around the banner, and choose to either print your banner in black and white, color, or multicolor. Download the PDF file of your banner, then open the file in Adobe Reader and print your banner.

2. Order a print of your banner online from a website that specializes in printing large signs and banners; one such website is Zazzle.com. Click "Create" and select "Posters." Upload a picture of your banner, then re-size it as needed. Click "Print Options" to choose the size of your banner and quality of print. The cost of your banner will depend on its size and print quality. Once you are finished sizing your banner, click "Add to Cart" and then "Proceed to Checkout" to order your banner.

3. Visit a store that specializes in printing large-scale images and signs: Fedex Office is one option. Bring a picture of the banner you want to print and tell them the size you want the banner to be. The cost of your banner will vary according to size and quality.
