Built in a cave, the entire winery---except the grapes---is underground. For $30, you get a tour of the property through the press rooms, barrel room, tasting room and cellars. Enjoy the waterfall and stream, and then look through the family's private collection of amethysts. Jarvis is known for its Chardonnay and Cabernet.

Quintessa


Purchased in 1989 by the Huneeus family, the family planted an organic vineyard on the 280 acres. The $25 tour and tasting takes you through the property while serving two vintage wines and local cheese. The guides also explain how gravity-fed wineries work and shows you the process.

Kuleto Estate


Owner Pat Kuleto also runs a full farm on the premises, growing vegetables and raising goats and cows for their milk to make dairy-based products. The $35 food and wine pairing tour takes you through the property which overlooks Lake Hennessey, as well as other wineries. All appetizers served are made from products grown and made on the land.
