Act Like A Lady

Acting like a lady is a skill that takes time to learn. Most ladies learn their ladylike behavior from the time they're little girls. However, you can learn to act like a lady later in life too. A few etiquette classes and practice will get you on your way to ladylike behavior.

Instructions

1. Observe other ladies to see how they act. Watch old movies, and actresses like Audrey Hepburn, to get a good feel for how a lady should conduct herself.

2. Enroll in etiquette classes. Many times these are geared for younger girls; however, most etiquette teachers will teach students of any age.

3. Keep your voice down and never yell because it makes you look unattractive and unladylike. Keep your curse words to a minimum and maintain your composure.

4. Learn to walk. Ladies don't walk like they should be wearing overalls, they learn to walk, and even run, in high heels. Also, learn sit and exit a car properly so you don't show anything the world shouldn't see.

5. Dress like a lady by not showing too much skin. Dressing ladylike requires you to toss out your micro mini skirts and fishnet stockings and opt for a flowing skirt, silk stockings and pearls.

6. Read up on the latest trends and fashion as well as classic literature and poetry. Being a well-rounded person will help you act like a lady in many situations.
