Sometimes you receive a phone call and can't see the number of the person calling you because she has blocked or restricted it. To identify the number, you'll need the help of a service that specializes in decoding blocked phone numbers.
Instructions
1. Find a website that offers cellphone identification. TrapCall.com is a good example.
2. Click on the big "Try TrapCall Free!" button. Click the "Select" button where it says "Free." Enter your phone number in the box, and select your carrier and time zone from the drop-down menus. The unblocking function you can use for free indefinitely. Additional services such as blocking phone numbers will require a paid subscription.
3. Hit "Next step." The service will call your phone with a confirmation number, which you can use to begin setup. You'll now be able to "unblock" any call.
4. Ignore a call as it comes in, then wait for TrapCall to send you the number. The caller will not realize the number is being decoded.
