Stop Hp Smart Web Page Printing

HP's Smart Web Page Printing plug-in is designed to allow users to choose exactly which content they wish to print from a given webpage in Microsoft Internet Explorer. Users may encounter a problem in which a window appears requesting to reinstall the plug-in each time you open a new webpage. If the problem persists after you complete the reinstallation process, you can disable the feature to avoid the problem altogether.

Instructions

1. Click the Microsoft "Fix It" link in the Internet Explorer menu to automatically attempt to disable the program. If you do not have the latest version of Internet Explorer, download it at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/default.aspx

2. To manually troubleshoot the problem, first close all Internet Explorer browsers, then open a new browser.

3. When the HP plug-in window appears, select "Always open Internet Explorer without this add-on."

4. If the problem continues, uninstall the plug-in in the "Add or Remove Programs" window in your computer's Control Panel under the Start menu.
