How Can I Check My Hotmail Account?
If you signed up for a Hotmail account, you may want to check your account every so often for your email and to view or update your personal and registration information. If you want to check your Hotmail account, you only need to sign in to get started.
Instructions
1. Sign in to your Hotmail account with your Windows Live ID and password.
2. Click the "Inbox" to see if any new email messages have been sent to your account. New messages are in bold and you can click the message subject to view the message.
3. Click the arrow next to your sign-in name at the top right-hand corner of the screen and select "View your account" from the drop-down menu to access all of your account information.
4. Look over your account details when the "Account" page opens. You can change your password, view your alternate email address and see the cell phone listed on your account on this page.
5. Click "Registered information" while you are still viewing the "Account" page. You can view your address, occupation and work location here.
6. Click "Marketing preferences" under "Additional Options" while viewing your account information. You can choose whether or not you want to allow Microsoft to send promotional offers to your email address here.
