Strange Things About The Twin Towers

Before Sept. 11, 2001, the twin towers were an economic center for the world.

The 9/11 Commission launched an investigation into what happened to the World Trade Center's twin towers buildings on Sept. 11, 2001. In addition, the U.S. government has sought to debunk conspiracy theories surrounding the twin towers after the attacks. Of the many books and films about strange 9/11 occurrences, "Fahrenheit 9/11" by Michael Moore was most widely distributed. The strange facts about the twin towers continue to raise discussion among economists, journalists, architects and engineers.

Unusual Stock Trading

America.gov published a report called "The Top September 11 Conspiracy Theories." Among the theories, unusual insider stock trades occurred on the day of the plane attacks. The 9/11 Commission investigated, stating that there was unusual trading, but that the trading proved to have an "innocuous explanation." The report also stated, "much of the seemingly suspicious trading in American (Airlines stock) on September 10 was traced to a specific U.S.-based options trading newsletter, faxed to its subscribers on Sunday, September 9th, which recommended the trades."

World Trade Center 7 Building

Many theorists claim that the World Trade Center collapse was due to controlled demolition. One strange fact about the towers is that the 47-story World Trade Center Building 7 collapsed 100 feet completely on its own without a plane crash or visible attack. Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth showed evidence on March 6, 2011, at a 9/11 debate in Boulder, Colorado. More than 1,400 architects and engineers support the controlled demolition theory. Newsman Chris Mohr presented evidence to support the official investigation's findings that World Trade Center 7 fell due to a collapse by fire.

George W. Bush's Reaction

While President George W. Bush claimed a certain amount of ignorance to the twin tower attacks, evidence shows otherwise. On the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, Bush sat down at Emma E. Booker Elementary School in Sarasota, Florida. At 8:46 a.m., Flight 11 crashed into the first tower, and then a few seconds later, Bush's chief of staff reported the fact to him. This can be seen on a video recording of the event. In addition, it has been proved that there was no immediate live coverage of the first plane flying into the building, and yet Bush says he watched it on the television in a later interview. On the video of his reaction at the school, he simply does not address the news. Instead, he continues talking to the elementary students. Bush's whereabouts on Sept. 11 after his Emma E. Booker appearance are also unknown.

The Weird 11

Some weird facts show just how deeply connected the number "11" is to the 9/11 tragedy. New York City has 11 letters and is the 11th state. Multiple sources show that there is a strange abundance of the number "11" in association with the planes. For example, the first plane to crash was flight number 11, and flight number 11 carried 92 passengers. When adding "9" and "2," the number is 11. Similar facts show how the sum totals of other numbers related to the crash also equal 11. For instance, Sept. 11 is day No. 254 on a calendar year, the sum total of its digits equals 11. One of the most interesting facts involves the U.S. eagle symbol and the 9.11 verse of the Quran. The verse states, "For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah ..."
