In the sales market, you need to show your appreciation to a client for making a purchase. These promotional gifts can be simple in nature, but should be something the client remembers you by. Scale your promotional gifts based on the item the client would be purchasing so that you are not giving away gifts that cost more than the purchase itself.
Paperweight
A paperweight is a fixture for a desktop that future and current clients can look at on a daily basis. These can be purchased in wood, glass or even metal. You can have them custom engraved with a message to your client or simply have your company logo placed on them. Use labels or a business card adhered to the bottom so that your business information is always present.
Bottle of Wine
A fancy bottle of wine or even champagne can be used as a promotional gift to clients. Some common uses for wine and champagne are for purchases of luxury cars or boats. Place custom labels over your champagne or wine bottles and if your budget warrants it, give away wine glasses or champagne flutes to go along with the bottle.
Gift Baskets
Gift baskets or boxes can be a promotional gift that is not only beautiful to look at, but edible as well. Fill gift baskets with assorted fruits, cookies, cheeses, crackers, coffees or liquors. These gift baskets can be relatively small for smaller purchases or very ornate for larger purchase such as a home.

Gift certificates can be a promotional gift that gives the client something else to look forward to after the purchase. These gift certificates can be to local restaurants, spas or even for something else to use with their purchase. For example, a gift certificate for a client who just bought their home can be to the local furniture store, home decorating store or home improvement store.
Tickets
Tickets are similar to gift certificates in the way that they allow your client to look forward to something. These tickets can be to a local play or opera or even to a local sporting event. If there are concerts coming up in your area, you can purchase tickets to the concerts and events to give away as promotional gifts.
