Prepare An Event Budget

Planning for an event can be challenging or rewarding, there are a few steps to help you avoid those unexpected expenses!!

Instructions

1. Know from the onset of what planning your event is going to require, such as skill, finances, venue, etc. Make sure you are equipped to handle such a job. Make sure your time frame to do this is adequate.

2. Write down every area that is going to need finances, supplies, food etc. Think of everything, no matter how small, you can go back later and combine or delete these areas as you fine tune.

3. Make sure the finances are enough to handle the job and begin to seperate into catagories what will be needed. You can then begin to break these amounts down to fine tune the costs and supplies.

4. You'll know after planning the beginning steps how much time is required for each one. Tackle the big areas first to get organized and delegate those to help you as needed. By this time you should have your money designated for what is needed, don't be tempted to rob from one area for the other!

5. The assurance of a job well done will be in the final days and hours before. If you've organized it from step one, this should be an easy time, but requiring your total focus to complete the final steps. If your event requires food preparation, or setting up tables, this will all have to be done those last few hours.

6. When the day is here, just sit back and enjoy the rewards of your labor!
