2. Mail out a company ad. You can also do this yourself but it is less expensive if you hire a community advertiser to include your ad with several other ads in one large mailing. These ads must be attention-grabbing and contain eye-appealing graphics to gain the attention of consumers.


3. Hand out fliers or organize a door hanger campaign. This allows the business owner to pinpoint exactly what demographic area he wants to advertise in. Unfortunately this is becoming more and more difficult to do as many communities and businesses do not allow solicitations on their properties.


4. Run an ad in a newspaper, magazine, or on the Internet. This is one of the more expensive methods of advertising, but can reach a broader audience. A well-designed and highly visual advertisement with a strong message can be very instrumental in building your business quickly and effectively.

This is the most far reaching of all advertising, but this method is mainly for high dollar or high volume items and services because of the initial expense. Plan your ad for high visual content if on television and appealing vocal content if for radio.
