DPOF stands for "digital print order format."
DPOF (Digital Print Order Format) is a standard format control file that is stored in a digital camera's removable memory card. Most digital cameras support the DPOF standard. Recorded still images are marked with printing instructions. These instructions define which captured images on the storage card are to be printed and in which particular sequence. DPOF designates the paper size, image title text, orientation, specific image files to print, number of copies, and other parameters.
Instructions
1. Insert the memory card. Display the menu on your digital camera by pressing the center of the multi-selector. Navigate through the menu using up and down arrows. Highlight "DPOF setup" and select "Marked images."
2. Select the images you want to mark by using the left and right arrows on the multi-selector. Select the number of prints and a DPOF mark will appear on the selected images. Cancel a selection by rotating the rear control dial, select images and remove the DPOF mark.
3. Press menu and the message "Set DPOF?" will appear. Select "OK" with the up arrow. Press the center of the multi-selector. This specifies the DPOF on selected images and the screen returns to the playback screen.
