The HP Premium Instant-Dry Glossy Photo Paper is available in sheets or on a roll, producing vivid prints that don't require drying time. This paper enables users to generate large-format prints that can be mounted for framing or for use as durable exhibition panels. Since the paper is designed to reduce drying time significantly, prints can be handled right away, speeding up the mounting process. The mounting process requires careful handling of the print and adhesive materials. Use of a roller laminator promotes a secure bond with minimal air bubbles by applying even pressure on both sides of the materials.
Instructions
Mount Adhesive Sheet
1. Place the carrier board on a flat surface and place the printed sheet (printed side up) on top.
2. Peel the top of the liner on the adhesive sheet approximately 1/2" to expose a sticky edge.
3. Align the print and adhesive sheet so that the edges of the print are within approximately 1/2" of the edges of the adhesive sheet.
4. Gently press the top of the adhesive sheet in place over the print and carrier board to form a protective flap.
5. Carefully wipe the print and surface of the adhesive sheet to remove dust and particles.
6. Adjust the thickness of the roller laminator to accommodate the carrier board, print, and adhesive sheet.
7. Insert the assembled carrier board into the roller laminator and slowly peel the liner from the adhesive sheet as the roller applies pressure to the board.
8. Trim the excess sides of the adhesive sheet from the print.
Mount to Acrylic Sheet
9. Mount the front of the print as directed in section 1 to produce a coated print.
10. Peel back approximately 1/2" of liner from top edge of the acrylic sheet.
11. Place the coated print face-down on the acrylic sheet and align the edges, making sure that the edge of the print adheres to the exposed edge of the acrylic sheet.
12. Gently wipe the coated print and acrylic sheet free of dust and particles.
13. Adjust the roller laminator to accommodate the thickness of the acrylic sheet and coated print.
14. Insert the vinyl sheet and print into the roller laminator and slowly peel the liner from the acrylic sheet as the roller applies pressure.
15. Trim the acrylic sheet as desired, turn it over, and peel away the protective liner on the front of the acrylic sheet.
